Mobile dry needling
Dry needling in the comfort of your own home. This is a mobile service that comes to you across the Gold Coast on Fridays — the same fine, single-use needling used to release stubborn muscle tension and trigger points, without the trip to a clinic. Ideal if you’re time-poor, recovering, or simply prefer to be treated at home.
Dry needling involves inserting very fine, single-use needles into specific points in a muscle — often a tight band or trigger point that’s contributing to pain or restricted movement. It’s used to help release muscle tension and can be a useful part of treatment for certain muscular and movement-related issues. Though it uses similar needles to acupuncture, dry needling is based on musculoskeletal assessment rather than traditional acupuncture theory.
A mobile appointment is up to 40 minutes and includes a brief assessment, hands-on treatment and clear guidance for afterwards — all in your own home. Everything needed is brought to you, needles are single-use and disposed of safely, and needling is only ever used with your consent as one part of a broader treatment approach. All you need is a bit of space to lie down comfortably. Depending on the specific pain areas we find during your assessment, a standard mobile osteopathy treatment can also be provided — it’s all tailored to what your body needs on the day.
Mobile dry needling is available across the Gold Coast, including Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Miami, Mermaid Beach, Broadbeach, Robina, Varsity Lakes, Burleigh Waters and surrounding suburbs. Not sure if your suburb is covered? Get in touch and just ask.
Mobile appointments are available on Fridays, 9am–4pm. A session is $220–$250 depending on travel distance, and runs up to 40 minutes. Payment is on the day, with a receipt provided so you can claim through your private health fund where you have eligible extras cover (no on-the-spot HICAPS for mobile visits). If you’d prefer an in-clinic appointment, dry needling is also available on Saturdays at Brotherhood Wholeness, Burleigh Heads.
A mobile dry needling session is $220–$250 depending on how far the travel is to your location. This covers a session of up to 40 minutes including a brief assessment and treatment in your home.
Most people feel little from the needle itself. You may feel a brief muscle twitch or a dull ache as the muscle responds, which typically settles quickly. It’s explained beforehand and only ever used with your consent.
Mobile appointments run on Fridays, 9am–4pm, across the Gold Coast. In-clinic dry needling is available separately on Saturdays at Burleigh Heads.
